Rublev claims Abu Dhabi exhibition event


The Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev clinched the competition in Abu Dhabi. In the final clash, Rublev overcame an experienced British player Andy Murray.

The fight lasted an hour and a half. In the first set, Rublev was able to convert one breakpoint and took the victory 6:4. The second set was even tougher, where everything was decided in the tie-break. 7:2, and Andrey takes another victory this season. This short exhibition event confirmed the good shape of the sportsman who claimed the Davis Cup for his country earlier in December.

In the match for third place, Rafael Nadal lost to Denis Shapovalov. The Canadian and Spaniard spent two hours on the court. The ex-first racket of the world won the first set, but the second game remained with Shapovalov. The Canadian turned out to be stronger in the super tie-break.
