Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola thought about bringing David Alaba to his team during the last transfer window, Okdiario reported. Ultimately, however, the player decided to change Bayern Munich for Real Madrid.

Guardiola was to try to convince the Austrian captain to choose City over Real by calling the defender directly. Ultimately, however, Alaba was determined to transfer to the Królewski team, so the coach of The Citizens did not manage to achieve anything in these negotiations.
