German tennis player Alexander Zverev won the ATP Final Championship in Turin last weekend. In the final, the third racket of the world was stronger than the second – last year’s winner of the competition Daniil Medvedev from Russia: 6-4, 6-4.
The representative of Germany took revenge on Medvedev for the defeat in the group stage (then Zverev lost in three games). For Zverev, this is the sixth title of the season. He became the sole leader of the season in terms of the number of tournaments won. Djokovic and Ruud have five titles each.
Alexander, 24, became the 10th player to win the ATP Final Tournament title more than once. Want to know more about sport and don’t miss the important tennis news? Subscribe to news99india.in and receive the latest updates to your email.
