New Zealand tour to Australia postponed; Sri Lanka waits for new dates to visit the Aussies


Another cricket event goes out of schedule because of coronavirus. This time, it’s due to the newly imposed restrictions by the government of New Zealand, which locks the country for 10 days for all incomers. And this decision leaves no chances for their home cricket team to return from Australia without too long isolations and other restrictions.

The tour to Australia was planned from January 24 to February 9. Now, the sides discuss the delay but understand and respect the government’s decision.

The delay sets new questions for the overall International schedule. Thus, Sri Lanka was another country that had to visit Australia in February, while the postponement surely will impact their tour.
