728х90-2

The tennis player from Greece, Stefanos Tsitispas, reclaimed the title in Monte Carlo. The fifth racket in the world made the same on Masters last year.

In the final game, the Greek was better than Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina, who passed through Novak Djokovich on his way to the final. Although the final game was tough, it finished in two sets. The special competition was in the second one, which finished at 7:6 (6:3 the first one).

This victory left Tsitsipas at the fifth position in the ATP rankings, while the Spaniard jumped from 46th to 27th place. Two consecutive Monte Carlo titles are a rare occasion. The Greek became only the fourth in history to make it after the Spanish legends Rafael Nadal and Juan Carlos Ferrero, like the Austrian Thomas Muster.
