A confident win by South Africa over India in the 3rd Test

728х90-2

Just recently, the third clash between the visiting Men in Blue and the Proteas was over. The final day of the final Test was pretty calm compared to the previous ones.

South Africa needed only 111 runs by the end of day three, with only two lost wickets. Yesterday, they stopped India in the 67 over with a poor 198 runs for the second inning. And South Africa did a clear job today to score a needed amount of runs with only one stump lost. To accomplish an impressive chase, the Proteas needed only 64 overs. This day stays aside from the previous ones in terms of batting and bowling, as Indian throwers were not so good.

Petersen made the most contribution to this third Test. He scored 72 and 82 runs in the responsive innings and made three catches to dismiss opponents. The guests can be happy for nice batting from the side of Pant, whose century, however, didn’t save the previous day.

The next game will be on January 19 and in another format. South Africa and India will compete in the ODI format. Want to know more about sport and don’t miss the important sport news in India? Subscribe to news99idnia.in and receive the latest updates to your email.
